Cider is pale in appearance and surprisingly clear, aromatic. The flavor is muted due to fruit condition. Apples
used for pressing froze on the trees two weeks ago prior to harvest; half the apples
spent two nights at well below ideal temperatures. 20 degrees F for 3 (three) nights completely destroyed apples - damage
is approaching 100%.
The last cider pressing of the
season will be Thursday 22OCT2009.
